Firstly, Technical limit
First of all, they have to answer the question “Is is possible that we can have suitable technical know-how to produce a new range of lash”. Sometimes it’s just be the ability to buy a new materials, sometimes it depends on the technology that just several types of expensive machine can do. In other case, it can be some secrete techniques hold by just some people….
Anyway, they can consider to buy all of those things by money. In case that the have a strong finance, it just a game of investment.
But that’s never the whole story.
Secondly, Economic Consideration
Buying the technical know-how is not the whole economic investment to expand the product range.
If the new product range is for a new customer segment, a lash vendor has to invest more in marketing, operation, and sale… It’s not like you’re trying to sell more additional supportive products to the same group of people. The game would be much harder and more strange.
Even in case that they have a strong finance to sponsor all of those new activities, a vicory is not assured. in any case, the owner or manager of that lash vendor need much more time, expertise, vision… to develop a business.
That’s why even when that lash vendor can technically produce all types of lash, they may choose to not follow that strategy.
